Hello, my name is Rin. Nice to meet you! I don’t want to bore you with too much info about me, so here are just a few things you might find interesting…

Job: Always the first thing people ask, isn’t it? My answer is complicated. I am a writer. I am a teacher. I am a student. I am a PA and office manager. That, I think, about covers it.

Faith: Very important to me so I wanted to include it. I’m a Christian, I love God. I won’t preach at you from this blog but since He informs all that I do, He’s going to get an occasional mention.

I love: sunshine, logic puzzles, Agatha Christie, musicals, salt and pepper kettle chips

I hate: being cold, getting wet, paperwork, being late, magic tricks

Random facts: I grew up in Cape Town, I have two tattoos and seven piercings, I once dressed up as a geisha in Kyoto, I can’t play any musical instruments, I wish I could fly

Varied. Eclectic. Multi-faceted. However you want to define it, this blog is a real mish mash of different things. Like me really.

Expect a mix of subjects: knitting, writing, faith, life, food, travel… all the sorts of things I find interesting.

There will be views and reviews, observational ramblings and creative ‘how to’ features, links to interesting things I’ve found and the odd guest blogger or interview.
